Rossana was not going to miss out on the 2011 edition of the Milan Furniture Show, so it decided to take part in the Interni Mutant Architecture & Design event hosted in the magnificent setting of the State University of Milan. Here, Rossana presented an artistic interpretation of the DC10 kitchen designed by Vincenzo De Cotiis. The installation explores the theme of the kitchen of the future from a symbolic perspective, in a sort of genetic mutation: starting from the DC10 in burnished brass, it mutates into a pure volume of mirrored glass - a simple silhouette metaphorically alluding to the kitchen with only a few elements, such as the handful of old items of silver cutlery barely visible through the glass of the counter.
